Tara Oskam Speech-Language Pathology Scholarship

Tara Oskam was a kind and compassionate young woman with a listening ear and a heart for Jesus. As she looked to decide what she wanted to do with her life, she realized that she “just wanted to help people.” That is why she chose to major in Speech and Language Pathology at Calvin. In March 2017, during her junior year, Tara’s life was tragically taken. Her family and friends wish to honor her and her commitment and passion with this scholarship.

Basic criteria:

• accepted into the Speech Pathology and Audiology (SPAUD) Master’s Program
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
