Tara Oskam Memorial Speech Pathology Scholarship

Tara Oskam was a kind and compassionate young woman with a listening ear and a heart for Jesus.? Her loyalty and love for her friends and family, and her passion and commitment to Jesus, are some of the things that stood out about her.? As she looked to decide what she wanted to do with her life, she realized that she “just wanted to help people.”? That is why she chose to major in Speech and Language Pathology at Calvin College.?Tara was a perfectionist, dedicated and extremely hard working.?She had empathy and a love for helping others.?She was an outstanding student who was deeply respected and admired by her classmates and professors. In March 2017, during her junior year, Tara’s life was tragically taken. Her family and friends wish to honor her and her commitment and passion with this scholarship.?
