Beukelman/Ver Hage Family Scholarship

Laurel (Ver Hage) and Kenneth Beukelman have served as a host family for both missionary children attending secondary Christian schools and for post-graduate college students. Learning that many missionaries find it necessary to leave the field to return to the states in order to help their children with higher education, Laurel and Kenneth Beukelman established this scholarship to help offset the cost of tuition and to encourage both the families and their children who are finding their place in God’s world.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher
• be a child of a missionary whose parents are serving either internationally or domestically. There is no preference to the student’s citizenship.
• financial need is required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the scholarship criteria continues to be met. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
