Laurie Ellen Mervenne Urban Education Scholarship

Laurie Mervenne established this scholarship to encourage teacher candidates to pursue their careers in a Christ-centered, educationally excellent environment at Calvin University to meet the needs of all learners.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• pursuing a degree in education and planning to pursue a career in urban education
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
