Robert and Linda Berkhof Family Scholarship

Bob and Linda Berkhof, along with their family, have long supported Christian education and Calvin University. In recognition of the financial challenges faced by education students during their student teaching or directed teaching in a private or Christian school, the Berkhof family established this scholarship to assist them with their tuition expense during that time.

Basic criteria:

• entering senior or 5th year (Post BA may also apply)
• admitted to the education program and majoring in elementary, secondary, early childhood or special education
• scheduled to intern during at least one semester of the upcoming academic year
• in an intern placement that is not eligible for the State of Michigan Future Educator Stipend program
• financial need is considered
• preference will be given to Grand Rapids Christian High School graduates

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is not renewable.
