Bob and Linda Berkhof Family

Bob and Linda Berkhof, along with their family, have long supported Christian education and Calvin College. Their children, Jennifer (Chad), Kimberly (David), and their grandchildren (Alex, Andrew, Tyler, Caden, Evan, and Charlotte) have benefited greatly from a Christ-centered education.
Jennifer and Kimberly graduated with degrees in education from Calvin College and have taught in a variety of educational settings. In their teaching, they experienced how their Christian education prepared them to be the hands and feet of Christ to every student they encountered. In the Grand Rapids Christian schools, Bob and Linda’s grandchildren are thriving under the guidance of Christ-focused teachers who positively impact their education.
In recognition of the financial challenges faced by education students during their student teaching or directed teaching (regardless of public or private), the Berkhof family established this scholarship to assist them with their tuition expense during that time.
