Bolt Family History Scholarship
This scholarship was initially provided in memory of father and son pastors, Rev. Martin Bolt (1902-1978) and Rev. Calvin Bolt (1933-1997). Together they provided 75 years of service to the Christian Reformed Church through their ministry to congregations, leadership to education boards and denomination government, and love and support for world missions. Additionally, the Bolt family wishes to express their gratitude for Martin Bolt, Robert Bolt, Norma Tinholt and Theressa Brouwer, who by their lives and training have modeled lives of commitment and service to their Lord and Savior. It is the family’s desire to provide scholarships for Calvin students who aspire to graduate-level training with the intention of securing a faculty position in higher education.
