De Kryger Monsman Memorial Scholarship

Mrs. Diana Monsman established this scholarship in memory of her husband, Gerald. Mr. Gerald Monsman served in a variety of state and federal government offices. In addition, he contributed to our understanding of nation-states with his Essays of Sovereignty. Additional gifts were given by Maynard DeKryger to honor the memory of his wife, Lavina De Kryger.

Basic criteria:

• entering sophomore, junior, or senior year
• academic excellence
• majoring in political science or international relations
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
