Robert and Harriet Hasper Accounting Scholarship

This scholarship was established with a two-fold purpose in mind. First and foremost it was established in gratitude to God for the academically excellent Christian education the Haspers and their family received at Calvin College. Secondly, it honors the growth and development of the accounting program at Calvin from a two-semester course to a five-year master’s degree in accounting.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year or a graduate student
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• pursuing a bachelor’s of science in accountancy degree (BSA) or a master’s of accounting degree (MAcc) and working towards becoming a CPA
• display a strong Christian commitment
• display an excellent potential for leadership
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
