De Groot Family Scholarship

Mr. Amos J. De Groot, President of Rockview Dairies, Inc., is a strong supporter of Christian education. Mr. De Groot strongly supports the idea that Calvin University must be a Christian community that recognizes the college’s responsibility to provide educational opportunities to young people. Mr. De Groot also believes that these opportunities need to be closely linked to those students who feel a special responsibility to return service and leadership to areas of need within communities.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
• financial need is not required

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year. Preference will be given to renewal applicants if they continue to meet the criteria described above.
