William & Janice (Roosma) Van Dyke Scholarship

This scholarship is given to a Lynden Christian senior who is planning to enroll at Calvin College the following year. It is established by Jan (Roosma) Van Dyke and her family in memory of her beloved husband, Bill, who passed away of cancer in 1993 at the age of 45. Jan is a graduate of Lynden Christian High School, class of 1966, who went on to Calvin College. In hindsight, she considers herself an unlikely Calvin College student. She believes that the Lord led her to Calvin and blest her richly in the process of her years there and subsequently. This scholarship is intended to contribute to the enrollment of other students who, like herself, need some encouragement and resources.
