Judith DeJong Clousing Family

Judith Rae DeJong Clousing was a young lady who developed blindness and epileptic-type seizures at the early age of seven as the result of a brain abscess. Her family has established this scholarship as a memorial to her life testimony of the power and sufficiency of God’s grace in her life. Her disabilities did not restrain her in the pursuit of a full and productive experience of life. Her testimony touched the lives of many people; people with whom she worked, her clients, people at church, and especially her own family. This was evidenced at the time of her death when the family received many letters and personal expressions from people as to the impact Judy had had on their lives.

By establishing this scholarship, it is the family’s hope and prayer that her determination and accomplishments may be an encouragement and inspiration to others who face similar obstacles and hardships in their lives. In doing so, her life lives on for them as well.
