Joseph and Joy Tong

This scholarship was established by Dr. Joseph Tong to provide financial aid to international students at Calvin College. Students from Asia who can show financial need, who demonstrate academic proficiency, and who profess Christian faith will receive priority consideration. This scholarship is open to freshmen and may be renewed. Dr. Tong is an alumnus of Calvin College (AB-1974), Calvin Theological Seminary (BD-1974, ThM-175) and the University of Southern CA (PhD). He and Mrs. Joy Tong are very active in promoting Christian higher education especially among Asians.
