Dwight and Sally Fox Hillard Family

Sally Fox Hillard (c1947) and her husband, Dwight Hillard, valued lifelong education and filled their home with books and music. Their children, Dr. Claire Fox Hillard and Annamarie Cassis, both Calvin alumni, have designated their parents’ Calvin bequest to establish this memorial scholarship. Dwight owned a printing parts business and Sally taught third grade at Eastern Elementary in the Grand Rapids Public School system. Always a free spirit, Sally also took courses at Calvin Seminary, enjoyed Calvin Academic for Lifelong Learning classes, and collected children’s literature. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support education students.
