Bob and Lois Vermeer Engineering Scholarship

Bob and Lois Vermeer establish this scholarship to honor Calvin’s rich liberal arts heritage and to continue its legacy of helping deserving students to achieve their goal of higher education. Bob and Lois are faithful supporters of Christian education. Lois and both of their daughters, as well as many members of their family, attended Calvin College and greatly appreciated the education they received. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who is pursuing a degree in engineering. With Bob having completed a 40 year career at Vermeer Corporation, their family-owned business, where engineering expertise is a vital component, this engineering scholarship is an appropriate choice for the Vermeers.
