Our Opportunities

How to Apply

Admitted students can apply for Calvin University scholarships from December 1 to January 31, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Complete two sections to apply: 

  1. the General Application and
  2. the New Student Application or the Returning Student Application.

Music scholarships need one extra form: 

  • the New Student Music Scholarship Application or the Returning Student Music Scholarship Application.

To start, click “Sign In” and enter your Calvin username and passphrase. Save your answers any time by clicking “Save and Keep Editing.” For help, email scholarships@calvin.edu

When finished, you’re automatically considered for ALL named scholarships*. You will also receive a list of “Recommended” scholarships. Apply by answering their specific questions. 

A few external scholarships, such as the Hugh and Eve Meeter Calvinism Award, are available under the “Opportunities” tab. 

Awarding Scholarships

Calvin awards scholarships for the upcoming academic year in mid to late March. 

*Named scholarships are competitive. Automatic consideration does not guarantee an award.
