Vander Haagen Family Scholarship for 5th Year Education Students

Mrs. Jane and Mr. David Vander Haagen, Calvin alumni, believe that Calvin-educated teachers contribute greatly to the lives of their students, the quality of their schools, and the character of their communities. The Vander Haagens established this scholarship to encourage students who are completing their academic preparation for this important Kingdom endeavor.

Basic criteria:

• entering 5th or 6th year (Post-BA may apply)
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• pursuing a career in education, either elementary, secondary or special education
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
