Verbrugge-Hoogwerf Family Education Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the Verbrugge and Hoogwerf families to support a Calvin University sophomore, junior or senior whose career goals are to teach at the primary or secondary level.

Basic criteria:

• entering sophomore, junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
• pursuing a program in education with first preference to a student who has a desire to teach in a Christian school
• demonstrate a desire to continue his or her education in graduate school
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable for one year. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
