Plante Moran Accounting Scholarship

Plante & Moran has enjoyed a long history of working with Calvin College and has reaped the benefits of this relationship through the hiring of more and more Calvin alumni over the years. It is in the spirit of this relationship, as well as the work ethic and values that students learn and develop at Calvin, that Plante & Moran is offering this scholarship.

Basic criteria:

  • first preference will be given to students entering their sophomore or junior year. Students entering their senior year and graduate students may also be considered.
  • cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
  • pursuing a bachelor’s of science in accountancy degree (BSA) or a master’s of accounting degree (MAcc)
  • have a desire to work in public accounting in the Midwest
  • demonstrate leadership skills
  • participation in extracurricular activities
  • must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • financial need is required

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
