Dr. Enno and Mrs. Lucile Wolthuis Chemistry Scholarship

Dr. Enno Wolthuis, Professor of Chemistry at Calvin College from 1949-1976, established a scholarship fund for the benefit of chemistry majors who have an interest in pursuing a career in research and/or college-level teaching. Dr. Wolthuis always provided his students with an excellent example of what it is to be a teacher-researcher.

Basic criteria:

• entering sophomore, junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• chemistry or biochemistry major
• financial need is considered
• preference will be given to students interested in pursuing a career in research and/or college-level teaching

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
