Rietberg Family Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the Gerald R. Rietberg family of Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. and Mrs. Rietberg have been strong supporters of Calvin over the years and they and their children are all Calvin alumni. This scholarship was established for students who exhibit a commitment to the highest ethical and moral standards in pursuing a career that provides for the exercise of Christian leadership in business and/or public administration.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• pursuing a major in business and/or public administration
• planning to participate in a service-oriented program sponsored by the Business Department such as an internship or the cooperative education program
• financial need is considered
• preference will be given to students who have participated in volunteer or extra-curricular activities related to their field of study

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
