Art and Judy Jongsma Psychology Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Art and Judy Jongsma, long-time supporters of Calvin, in appreciation for the quality, Christian education Art received at Calvin College which led to his distinguished career as a clinical psychologist and author. The Jongsmas established this scholarship to help other students attain a solid Christian liberal arts foundation with a major in psychology.

Basic criteria:

• entering sophomore, junior or senior year (transfers may apply)
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• psychology major planning to attend graduate school to pursue a doctorate in psychology
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
