Frisch Chemistry Scholarship
Kurt Frisch Jr. established a chemistry scholarship for a deserving chemistry student. Kurt completed his undergraduate chemistry courses at Calvin and went on to earn his PH.D. in Polymer Science with an emphasis in polymer synthesis (chemistry). He greatly appreciated both the scholarship and the Christian example of the professors at Calvin University.
Basic criteria:
- entering freshman year
- cumulative GPA of 3.80 or higher
- planning to major in chemistry
- financial need is considered
Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable for the sophomore year if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
