Marceco Foundation Scholarship

The goal of the Marceco Foundation is to provide funds to improve, empower, and instill hope in individual lives through education. With a desire to offer a great college education to others, this scholarship is offered to employees of the Michigan Department of Corrections, their children or family members. Because of the donor’s long association with the Calvin Prison Initiative (CPI), priority will be given to those who have a connection to the Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility, where CPI is located.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year
• an employee of the Michigan Department of Corrections, or a child or family member of an MDOC employee; first preference will be given to those who have a connection to the Richard A. Handlon Correctional facility
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable for one year if the student continues to make satisfactory progress. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
