Harris Family Scholarship

George and Ina Harris moved from Canada as a young couple so George could pursue his education at Calvin College. That set a course for George’ „¢s career in higher education and their lifelong participation in Calvin community. In George’s words: "Our great purpose in life is to serve Christ in his kingdom.’  The Harris family established this scholarship to assist students from Canada to likewise begin their education at Calvin University.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• from Canada
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
