Summer Camp Counselor Scholarship

Sharon Vander Pol established this scholarship in honor of her parents. Her father had a lifetime career as a summer camp administrator. This scholarship benefits students who have a love for children and have worked or volunteered as a summer camp counselor.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 2.70 or higher
• worked or volunteered as a summer camp counselor
• financial need as defined by government programs is required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable with a cumulative GPA of 2.70 or higher (one year only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
