James Bosscher Engineering Scholarship

Former students and friends of Dr. James Bosscher have generously funded this scholarship in his name. Dr. Bosscher is a former professor at Calvin having taught in the Engineering Department from 1954 until his retirement in 1987. He was chairman of the department for 20 years during that time.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• pursuing an engineering degree
• demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and potential in high school
• financial need is not required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable based on the first year’s college performance and continuation in the engineering program (sophomore year only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
