Sidney and Mae Rooy Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Dianne Zandstra, a retired Calvin professor, in honor of her parents, Calvin alumni who spent several decades in Christian service in Latin America. Therefore, preference for this scholarship is given to a student from Latin America, either a native of the region or a child of missionaries who serve in Latin America.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• financial need is required
• first preference is a student from Latin America, either a native of the region or a child of missionaries who serve in Latin America

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable for one year if the student continues to make satisfactory academic progress. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
