Prince Family Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Mary and Robert Prince. Mary served as a teacher in both the public and the Christian school systems for many years. They established this scholarship due to their love of Christian education and the great importance of training Christian teachers for service in God’s Kingdom. They have been so pleased to see the strong foundation Calvin provides for future teachers, and would like to assist in making this education available to education students.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior, senior or 5th year
• cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
• pursuing a degree in the education program
• demonstrate evidence of a great love for children by involvement in volunteer activities
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the scholarship criteria is met and the recipient continues to pursue a career in education. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
