Mark and Kristine Huizenga Engineering Scholarship

Mark and Kristine Huizenga created this scholarship to honor their daughter Elaina who found tremendous value in her studies of civil engineering at Calvin. They believe in supporting students who study the sciences and want to especially support female students pursuing a career in engineering.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
• pursuing a degree in engineering
• financial need is considered
• preference will be given to female students and graduates of Grandville Calvin Christian High School in Grand Rapids, MI or students who are from the Grand Rapids metropolitan area

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
