Richard and Fredith Klamer International Student Scholarship

Richard and Fredith Klamer established this scholarship in gratitude to God for His faithfulness and blessings. Richard, a 1957 Calvin alum, and Fredith (Fritz) have a deep appreciation for Christian education and a shared passion and desire to support international students who would like to attend Calvin but may not have the financial resources to do so. Their hope is that this scholarship will equip more young men and women to live out Calvin’s mission to be Christ’s agents of renewal in the world.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year (first preference will be given to prospective students)
• international student
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• financial need is required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the recipient continues to make satisfactory academic progress. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
