Florence G. Kuipers Scholarship

Dr. Florence Kuipers is an alumna of Calvin who, through her work with the government and with Wycliffe Bible Translators, has developed a sensitivity to the educational needs of displaced and minority people in the world. She established this scholarship to assist minority students in obtaining a Christian college education at Calvin.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year (transfers may apply)
• cumulative high school GPA of 3.00 or higher for incoming students; cumulative university GPA of 2.50 or higher for current and transfer students
• North American ethnic minority
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the recipient continues to meet the scholarship criteria. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
