Roger and Esther Heyns Presidential Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of Dr. Roger W. Heyns, a 1940 graduate of Calvin, who had a long and distinguished career in education. Funds for the scholarships are provided by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation where Dr. Heyns served as president from 1977 through 1992.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 3.85 or higher
• Presidential Scholarship recipient
• financial need is not required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship may be renewed with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
