Henry and Grace Beute Memorial Scholarship

Gordon Beute, M.D., established this scholarship to honor the memory of his parents, Henry and Grace Beute. They were strong supporters of Christian education. Gordon graduated from Calvin, followed by medical school, and then pursued a career in diagnostic radiology. He is grateful for the education and mentoring he received at Calvin. This scholarship will support Calvin pre-medical students as they prepare to pursue a career in medicine.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher
• pursuing a pre-med program
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
