John G. and Anne Feringa Scholarship

John and Anne Feringa of Rockford, MI, established this scholarship out of a desire to help worthy, needy students with their college expenses.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• demonstrate financial need
• if the above criteria are met, preference will be given to those who have been actively involved in church, community, and extracurricular school activities
• not receiving any other Calvin-awarded scholarships

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable with a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher (one year only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
