Wilma Zondervan Teggelaar Family Scholarship

The family of Mrs. Wilma Zondervan Teggelaar of Grand Rapids, MI, established this scholarship to honor Mrs. Teggelaar’s lifelong generous and dedicated support of Christian education. Mrs. Teggelaar’s hope is that students who attend Calvin will equip themselves to serve Christ in all spheres of life. She established this scholarship for students who would not otherwise attend Calvin because of the cost.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• demonstrate the potential to be successful at college
• financial need is considered
• if the above requirements are met, preference will be given to students who have been actively involved in service-related and other volunteer activities in their high school, church, or community during their high school years

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable to students who demonstrate evidence of scholastic diligence, are in good standing academically, and continue to qualify on the basis of financial need (sophomore year only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
