Rich and Trena Boonstra Family Scholarship

Rich and Trena Boonstra established this scholarship to encourage students from southern California to attend Calvin University. As faithful alumni, they have benefited in many ways from a Christian education, as did their children. They understand that tuition can be a hardship for students and hope to defray a portion of this cost through this scholarship.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year
• first preference is for a student who has attended a high school in San Diego County; if no students meet this preference, other students will be considered
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
