Central America Scholarship

Calvin University maintains a long and supportive affiliation with Honduras through its semester programs and the on-going relationship with several Christian schools in the country; particularly with the International School of Tegucigalpa in Honduras. As a result of this relationship, many Central American students desire to attend Calvin University, but the financial burden often makes this wish impossible. This scholarship for a student from Central America is intended to help convert a dream into a reality.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• be a citizen of a Central American country
• first preference will be given to students from the International School of Tegucigalpa, Honduras or from another school in Honduras
• financial need is required

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the scholarship criteria continues to be met. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
