Phil and Mary Slater Frens Scholarship

Phil and Mary Frens value their Christian education and how it enabled them to serve Christ by teaching in Christian schools and ministry. They desire to encourage and support students who demonstrate diligence in their studies, possess excellent people skills, and who plan to use their gifts to bless others through teaching and Christian ministry.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• pursuing a program in education or pre-seminary
• demonstrate strong Christian character and diligence in his or her academic work
• demonstrate Christian character, promise of growth, and participation and leadership in activities outside the classroom such as church, community, and extra-curricular school activities
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is not renewable.
