Benjamin H. Van Andel Scholarship

Ben Van Andel established this scholarship both as a gift and as a challenge to its recipients. As a career-long teacher, he treasured the opportunity to help students realize their dreams and potential through education. He hopes those who benefit from it will find ways in their own lives to be generous to others.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year
• studying any major and from any geographic area with no preference given to a particular location
• demonstrate a desire to serve others and impact their world
• financial need is required

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
