Steve and Pam VanderLeest Computer Engineering Scholarship
In gratitude to God for the blessing of a Christian school community and the blessing of a fruitful professional career, Steve and Pam VanderLeest wish to support students intending to pursue careers in the field of computer and software engineering. Christian professionals in these areas are important witnesses to the gospel and can be shining examples of a holistic life of faith, even in technical disciplines.
Basic criteria:
- entering junior or senior year
- cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher
- pursuing a computer science or engineering major with a concentration in electrical and computer engineering
- financial need is considered
First preference will be given to students who are interested in pursuing a career in computer engineering and who have graduated from one of the following high schools (in order of preference):
- Calvin Christian High School in Grandville, MI
- Unity Christian High School in Hudsonville, MI
- South Christian High School in Byron Center, MI
Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
