Eric and Wendy Van Vugt Urban Education Scholarship

The family of Eric and Wendy Van Vugt establish this scholarship in honor of their parent’s faithful dedication to Christian education and their love of Calvin College. Given Wendy’s lifelong commitment to urban education, both as a teacher and now as a tutor and mentor in Milwaukee, WI urban schools, this scholarship will support students who plan to pursue a career in urban education.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• pursuing a degree in education and planning to pursue a career in urban education
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
