Gregory and Joan Uitvlugt Family Scholarship

In deep appreciation for the quality education that they received at Calvin College, Greg and Joan Uitvlugt (both ’78) and their children, established this scholarship to enable a first-year student the same opportunity of a Christ-center education. The Uitvlugt family has had a long-standing commitment to Christian education and has witnessed its tremendous impact on their lives.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman year
• pursuing one of the following majors: biology, chemistry & biochemistry, nursing or physics
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the student maintains satisfactory academic progress. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
