Alvin and Kathleen Plantinga Scholarship in Christian Philosophy

Alvin Plantinga, a noted Christian philosopher, taught philosophy at Calvin College for 19 years and at Notre Dame University for 28 years. Alvin and Kathleen Plantinga established this scholarship to support philosophy students who show promise in bringing a Christian perspective to the study of philosophy.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• pursuing a philosophy major
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
