Barbara Gezon Baker Scholarship for Academic Excellence in Sociology and Social Work

Calvin played an important role in Barbara Gezon Baker’s life. Barbara’s family was her focus, and the goal of her studies was to help others discover successful family relationships. In celebration of Barbara’s life and memory, this scholarship was established to assist students in the Department of Sociology and Social Work.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year
• an excellent academic record, particularly within the department
• financial need is required

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
