David and Susan Wilkins Family Teacher Internship Scholarship

Out of their gratitude to God for being a part of a family with four generations of Calvin students, three generations of Calvin employees, and the love of teaching and learning, David and Susan (Youngsma), established this scholarship to assist students in the school of education during their student teaching semester.

Basic criteria:

• entering the academic year in which they will complete their student teaching internship
• majoring in education
• exhibit a strong Christian commitment to being an agent of renewal whether teaching in a Christian or public school
• financial need is considered
• preference is given to a first-generation Calvin student

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must have an additional full-time semester long education internship required.
