Peter and Carolyn Sturrus Family Scholarship

This scholarship was established to honor a husband, father, and grandfather who had a deep love for Calvin’s mission and programs. Calvin University serves as the Alma Mater to two of the Sturrus children, seven grandchildren, four grandchildren in-laws, and hopefully many great grandchildren to come. This scholarship was the perfect way for the family to honor their father by aiding students in their journey to become agents of renewal in God’s world.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior or senior year (5th year seniors are also eligible for consideration); transfer students may apply
• cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the student continues to make satisfactory academic progress. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
