Ezekiel James Scott Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established for a nursing student in loving memory of Ezekiel James Scott, precious infant son of Aaron and Torian Scott. Ezekiel was born July 22, 2012 with a diaphragmatic hernia and a congenital heart defect requiring immediate and extensive treatment. He was competently and compassionately cared for by nursing staff during the five short weeks of life. Ezekiel brought great joy to all who knew him and to many who had never met him but shared in his life and struggles. He was loved by a worldwide community who faithfully supported and prayed for him and his family.
Basic criteria:
- entering junior year
- accepted into the nursing program
- financial need as defined by government programs is required
Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the scholarship criteria continues to be met (senior year only). Renewal is subject to funding availability.
