Allene Huizenga Goguen Music Scholarship

The family of Allene Huizenga Goguen established this scholarship to honor her life and career as a music teacher in both the Christian and public schools in urban music education. The scholarship is an award to students who have demonstrated an interest in music through course work or extra-curricular activity.

Basic criteria:

• entering freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year
• pursuing a music education major; if no music education majors meet the scholarship criteria in a given year, music majors may be considered
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: Students who wish to be considered for renewal must file a new application each year and will be given equal consideration with other candidates.
