Kenneth and Phyllis Timmer Family Scholarship

Ken and Phyllis Timmer established this scholarship to provide future students the ability to attend Calvin and receive the significant benefits of a Calvin Christ-based education that they and their children received.

Basic criteria:

• entering junior year
• cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
• majoring in education, engineering, business, communications or nursing/pre-med (rotating between departments each year)
• financial need is considered

Renewal criteria: This scholarship is automatically renewable if the student continues to make satisfactory academic progress toward a degree in their discipline and is maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher. Renewal is subject to funding availability.
